I partnered with kids from a local middle school to collect canned food for an annual food drive that I host. I promised a pizza party for the class who could collect the most food. A 7th grader told me that he was going to collect as much food as he could, not to win, but because I inspired him to give back. I will never forget that moment because it was one of the first times my charity work felt worthwhile.
